Filipe Luis expects his Atletico Madrid team-mate Antoine Griezmann to snub offers from Barcelona and Man United this summer.
The Frenchman had rejected a potential move to Old Trafford last summer after Atletico were hit with a transfer ban.
The 26-year-old then signed a new long term contract until 2022 to end immediate speculation linking him with a move away from the Wanda Metropolitano.
His stunning run of form in recent weeks has only elevated his status as one of La Liga’s marquee attackers – with seven goals coming in the last two matches alone.
But Luis does not believe his team-mate will leave the club, despite growing interest from Barcelona.
He told Marca: “(Griezmann) is a player who is far above the level of his teammates, and I am convinced that he has not made any decision to move (or not) yet.”
“At Atletico he has a whole team playing for him and he is very happy. He is very with the club and with the city, so I do see him here for many years.”
Griezmann has scored 15 goals and provided seven assists in 23 La Liga matches this season – and will be one of the key figures Diego Simeone will be looking to for inspiration when they face Barcelona on Sunday.
