Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a shock move to Besiktas.

Even with the transfer window over three months away, clubs are at the stage of starting to put deals in place for summer.

There’s plenty of activity that’s setting the rumour mill abuzz as clubs flesh out their transfer strategies.

Here’s a look at three players that could be switch clubs this summer.

Tell us what you think about these potential transfers on Twitter and Facebook.

CRISTIANO RONALDO

Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a shock move to Besiktas.

The Turkish club’s ambitious president Fikret Orman has outlined plans to expand Besiktas’ global fan base to 100 million fans, and the Real Madrid attacker is meant to become a star attraction for the club and the Super Lig.

Orman acknowledged in an interview with Turkish media outlet Ajansspor that the club still have a lot to do to become a desired destination for Ronaldo and players of his calibre, but says he’s honoured that Besiktas is being linked with him.

It’s likely that Ronaldo, 33, will step down a level from Madrid towards the end of his career, although that may not happen for another few years.

CLEMENT LENGLET

Sevilla’s star young defender Clement Lenglet is a target for both Real Madrid and Barcelona, says Sport.

Barcelona have reportedly been monitoring the Frenchman for some time, keeping him on their list of potential future signings. The club has been looking for reinforcements at the centre-back position with Javier Mascherano having departed and Thomas Vermaelen struggling to stay injury-free.

Lenglet’s compatriot Zinedine Zidane also reportedly has designs on adding the 22-year-old to his Real Madrid squad.

Lenglet has impressed for Sevilla this season, and his stock has risen further after his performance against Manchester United during their shock win over the Premier League club in the Champions League.

With a release clause of just €30 million, there could be plenty of competition for his signature.

MALCOM

RMC Sport claims Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has been in direct contact with Malcom in a bid to persuade the Brazilian winger to join Spurs this summer.

The 21-year-old is more or less guaranteed to leave Bordeaux in the summer window, and has also been linked with moves to Arsenal and Bayern Munich. There was speculation that he was close to joining Arsenal this winter, only for a switch to never pan out.

Pochettino has tried to get a leg up on his rivals in the chase by calling Malcom up to convince him to join the north London club.

Bordeaux are likely to demand €55m for their star winger, who has quickly become one of the most sought-after players in Europe.

It may be Spurs after all for Malcom, who was linked with them in January, too.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey

Chelsea are keeping tabs on Aaron Ramsey, according to the Mirror.

The paper says the Blues are monitoring the situation of the 27-year-old Arsenal midfielder, who will have just a year left on his contract by the summer and has yet to commit to a new deal.

Meanwhile, the Mirror also reports that Chelsea face a battle to keep Eden Hazard after being knocked out of the Champions League.

The paper says there is growing concern that the Belgium international could join keeper Thibaut Courtois and boss Antonio Conte in leaving the Blues this summer if they fail to achieve a top-four finish.

Arsenal are keen on handing midfielder Mohamed Elneny a new deal, the Mirror reports. The paper says the Gunners want to keep the 25-year-old, who has two years left on his contract, having sold Francis Coquelin to Valencia in January.

Juventus are said to be eyeing up Manchester United star Anthony Martial. The Sun says reports in Italy suggest the side have a genuine interest in the 22-year-old, who has been in and out of the Manchester team for the past few games.

Manchester United are keeping track of Hector Bellerin’s situation at Arsenal, the Manchester Evening News reports.

The paper says United are understood to have made contact with the 22-year-old’s people, and have asked to be kept in the loop on developments ahead of a possible summer transfer.

The Spaniard still has more than five years to run on his contract but has been repeatedly linked with a move away from the Emirates.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Stefan de Vrij: Inter Milan are reportedly close to securing a deal for the Liverpool and Manchester United target. TalkSPORT says the Italian media have suggested the defender, who is out of contract with Lazio in the summer, is putting the final touches on a move to Inter.

Alisson Becker: Real Madrid have reportedly joined the chase for the Roma goalkeeper. The Sun says reports in Spain suggest Real will go head-to-head with Liverpool for the 25-year-old this summer, with the Spanish side eyeing him up as a potential replacement for Keylor Navas.

Emre Can has been linked with an Anfield exit.

Bayern Munich are eyeing up Liverpool‘s Emre Can, according to the Mirror. The paper says the German team are ready to join Juventus in the race to sign the midfielder, who is out of contract at the end of the season.

Can began his senior career at Bayern, and the Bavarians are said to be keen to lure him back.

Chelsea are looking to sign Juventus left-back Kwadwo Asamoah, the Sun reports. According to the paper, the club want to land him on a free transfer when his contract runs out in the summer, but could face competition from Napoli and Inter Milan.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho wants to sign Chelsea winger Willian this summer, the Sun reports. The Red Devils have sent scouts to keep tabs on the Brazilian this season, the paper claims, and are keen to land him to help boost their Premier League title hopes.

Willian has been a fine performer this season.

Meanwhile, the Independent says the United manager wants to bring in four key players in the summer – with Barcelona’s Samuel Umtiti and Tottenham’s Toby Alderweireld the main targets. The paper claims Mourinho is particularly keen to bring in a centre-half to partner Eric Bailly.

The future of Mourinho himself is also the subject of speculation, with Paris St Germain reportedly ready to exploit any rift between him and United officials in order to try and tempt him to France. The Mirror claims the United boss is set to clash with club officials over his summer transfer budget, and says PSG believe they can take advantage of any discord in their attempts to land him.

Players to watch

Memphis Depay: AC Milan are reportedly preparing to bid for the former Manchester United player. The 24-year-old failed to impress at Old Trafford, and was sold to Lyon in January 2017, but talkSPORT says reports in the Italian media suggest he has become a wanted man again, and could cost Milan £25m.
