    JORGINHO

    The highly-rated Napoli midfielder is set to deal a blow to Liverpool and Manchester United by signing for Manchester Citythe Guardian claims.

    Pep Guardiola is keen to strengthen his midfield this summer with the Brazilian-born Italy international viewed as ideal competition for Fernandinho, who will turn 33 in May.

    The 26-year-old, who has made 29 Serie A appearances this season, was tracked by many of Europe’s elite clubs but has opted to sign for the Etihad Stadium side.

    Fresh from their stunning Copa del Rey triumph on Saturday, the Barcelona head coach is considering his future at the Camp Nou despite virtually winning the double.

    According to AS, the 54-year-old was reportedly blamed for their Champions League exit to Roma and feels he doesn’t have the support of the club’s various sporting directors.

    Valverde – who has a year left on his  contract – can clinch the La Liga title this weekend if his side avoid defeat away to Deportivo La Coruna.

    Athletic Bilbao are keen to bring the Tottenham striker back to San Mamés Stadium this summer, the Daily Mirror reports.

    The Spanish international has struggled for game-time since arriving from Swansea last August and would be open to making a return to Los Leones.

    The 33-year-old has failed to provide adequate back-up to Harry Kane, who has scored an impressive 37 goals in 44 matches this term.
