  • Salah has withstood the physicality of Premier League football to shine.

Though the summer transfer window is still a couple of months away, that hasn’t stopped the rumours of players potentially being on the move.

Across the world of football, there remains plenty of activity and stories that have football fans talking.

Here, we look at the latest transfer deals that could happen when the market reopens in June.

    MOHAMED SALAH

Liverpool hope an offer to double Salah’s wages will ensure he remains at the club following his sensational debut season, according to The Sun.

Salah, 25, is coveted across Europe after rocketing in an amazing 43 goals since last summer’s profitable move from Roma.

With the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain sniffing around him, the Reds are ready to open talks about a new £185,000-a-week offer (Dh933,000) to end any questions over the Egypt forward’s future on Merseyside.

    CARLO ANCELOTTI

Italy’s search for a new head coach looks set to continue after Ancelotti turned down the chance to takeover, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Ancelotti, 58, had been locked in talks with the Italian Football Federation. But the ex-AC Milan, Chelsea and Real Madrid supremo  is reported to be set on making a return to club management – he was sacked by Bayern Munich in September.

Claudio Ranieri and Roberto Mancini are the new favourites to revive a nation who failed to make World Cup 2018.

    LUIS ENRIQUE

It appears that Arsenal’s quest for a new manager is not set to end with the signing of the ex-Barcelona leader.

The Times reports that senior executives at the Gunners do not believe the 47-year-old is a good fit for the task of replacing Arsene Wenger.

His exorbitant salary demands and “self-absorbed approach to management” are convincing them to set their focus elsewhere.

Enrique has also been linked to Chelsea in recent weeks and Stamford Bridge appears to be a more-likely destination.
