    JASPER CILLESSEN

The Barcelona No.2 has pledged his immediate future to the club but has admitted he is unhappy about his lack of game time.

Cillessen is back-up to the in-form Marc-Andre ter Stegen and has featured sparingly this season only when Ernesto Valverde has decided to rotate his team.

However, in an interview with Dutch outlet Ziggo Sport, the 29-year-old revealed he has no intention of leaving the club and is prepared to see out his contract, which runs until 2021.

The former Ajax star is set for talks with Blaugrana hierarchy in pre-season to gain more clarity on how often he might play over the next 12 months.

    BENJAMIN HENRICHS

Chelsea are weighing up a summer bid for the Bayer Leverkusen defender, The Sun reports.

The Blues’ transfer plans for next season have already begun in earnest, with the 21-year-old – who is regarded as one of the most promising talents in German football – earmarked as a future signing.

Reportedly, the Stamford Bridge outfit could test the Bundesliga’s resolve to keep hold of the full-back by offering a whopping £31 million (Dh154m) for his signature.

Even though Antonio Conte’s long-term is unclear, Chelsea hierarchy are ploughing ahead with squad strengthening.
