    YERRY MINA

The towering Barcelona centre-back could be in line for a shock loan switch to the Premier League, according to El Chiringuito.

Rumours are linking Liverpool with a loan move for the 23-year-old, who has reportedly told Blaugrana team-mates he is to leave Camp Nou having struggled to settle since his January transfer from Palmeiras.

Mina has featured just four times in all competitions for the Catalonian club this term – most recently during last week’s 5-1 home triumph over Villarreal.

However, he has failed to dislodge the reliable defensive pairing of Samuel Umtiti and stalwart Gerard Pique. A loan switch to England could allow him to gain much-needed experience in top-level European football.

    Defensive stalwart: Yerry Mina.

Not an easy start to life at Barcelona for Yerry Mina.

    RUI PATRICIO

Newly-promoted Premier League side Wolves are lining up a big summer bid for the Sporting Lisbon goalkeeper, Diario de Noticias reports.

The 30-year-old, who has also been linked with West Ham, has spent his entire career with the Portuguese giants but they could be tempted to offload the star should an offer in the region of £30m (Dh149m) come in.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo is already planned in earnest for their return to the top-flight and sees Rui Patrício as a man who could bolster the Molineux ranks with much-needed experience.

However, any deal is not likely to be completed before this summer’s finals in Russia.
