    DANNY ROSE

Everton are poised to chase the Tottenham defender this summer and see him as a long-term replacement for the ageing Leighton Baines.

The Mirror reports that the Toffees have identified the England star as one of their top targets after he finished the Premier League strongly following a largely injury-hit campaign.

Although the Blues could relieve Sam Allardyce of his managerial role in the coming weeks, the Goodison Park board is set to plough forward with a bid, rumoured to be in the region of £37m (Dh184m), for the 27-year-old.

Rose would slot in instantly at left-back next season, with club legend Baines, 33, unable to get up and down the pitch like he did in his prime.

Danny Rose has played throughout May for Spurs.

    CARLO ANCELOTTI

The former AC Milan, Juventus, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich boss is set for a return to the dugout with Napoli next season.

According to Football Italia, the legendary boss will take up the coaching reins at the Stadio San Paolo with current manager Maurizio Sarri expected to leave in due course.

Ancelotti, who has not managed since his spell with Bayern came to an end last season, has also been linked with the vacant Arsenal hotseat and a return to Stamford Bridge, but now, Italy seems like his likely destination.

Reportedly, he will meet Napoli club president Aurelio De Laurentiis later this month to thrash out terms and ideas for how to take the club forward.

58-year-old Ancelotti set to make managerial comeback.

    ALEX MCCARTHY

The in-form goalkeeper is wanted by a trio of Premier League clubs after playing a starring role in Southampton’s revival, according to The Mirror.

McCarthy, 28, produced a string of fine showings to help Mark Hughes’ men avoid the drop and that hasn’t escaped the attention of Arsenal, Liverpool and league newcomers Wolves.

The Saints are set for a summer of change at St. Mary’s but will be determined to keep hold of the shot-stopper who displaced Fraser Forster in the first-team ranks.

Given he has just one year left on his existing contract, McCarthy is set for talks over his future once the dust settles on this term.
