    ALEX SANDRO

Manchester United are set to complete a €50million (Dh216m) deal for the highly-rated Juventus left-back, La Stampa reports.

With Luke Shaw and Matteo Darmian set to leave this summer, United are hopeful of securing the 28-year-old’s services.

Sandro has won the league and cup double for three seasons on the trot with the Old Lady, following his move from Porto back in 2015.

According to sources close to the Brazilian, he is seeking a fresh challenge and a switch to Old Trafford very much fits the bill.

    RICARDO PEREIRA

Leicester are inching closer to signing the £25m (Dh124m)-rated right-back, according to the Leicester Mercury.

The Foxes are keen to bolster their squad following a disappointing end to the season while there is also speculation concerning the future of boss Claude Puel.

Nevertheless, the club’s scouting network have identified the Porto defender as a top transfer target and are also said to be prepared to battle it out with West Ham for the signature of Manchester City star Patrick Roberts.

As for Pereira, he is expected to arrive from the Portuguese champions once the full international transfer window opens on June 1.

    CLEMENT LENGLET

The emerging Sevilla centre-back is on the verge of joining Barcelona next season, Mundo Deportivo reports.

At just 22, the French star is considered one of the most promising young defenders in Europe after his best campaign yet with the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium outfit.

Lenglet is expected to cost Barca up to £30m (Dh148m) but is viewed as a long-term replacement for Gerard Pique, and potentially, a more immediate one for Samuel Umtiti should he leave Camp Nou.

Andalusia-based star Lenglet is poised to sign a five-year deal with Blaugrana.
