    ROSS BARKLEY

The Chelsea midfielder has a long summer ahead to mull over his future having struggled to establish himself at the Blues, The Sun reports.

The 24-year-old featured just four times for the Stamford Bridge side this season, following his January transfer window switch from Everton.

That lack of game time, on top of a season of injury problems, contributed to his omission from Gareth Southgate’s England World Cup squad.

Having struggled to make an impact in west London, Barkley is set to consider his options but may wait to see if Roman Abramovich opts to oust current boss Antonio Conte.

    MATTEO DARMIAN

The full-back is on the brink of completing a move to Serie A champions Juventus, the La Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

The 28-year-old defender endured a miserable campaign under Jose Mourinho at Manchester United, and featured just 17 times in all competitions.

Now, a return to Italy is all but confirmed for Darmian who previously plied his trade with AC Milan, Padova, Palermo and Torino in his homeland.

A fee in the region of £12m (Dh58.6m) is likely to be agreed between the two clubs while Darmian himself could pen a lengthy five-year contract in Turin.

It’s been a frustrating season for Darmian.
