    DIEGO GODIN

Juventus are lining up a sensational summer swoop for the Atletico Madrid icon, according to Italian news outlet Calciomercatoweb.

The Old Lady have reportedly made contact with the Uruguayan’s representatives, but the Europa League champions would be reluctant to allow the inspirational centre-back to leave the Spanish capital.

Worringly for Atleti fans though, the 32-year-old has just one year left on his existing deal at Wanda Metropolitano and has yet to enter talks over a new contract.

Godin would leave the Red and Whites with a heavy heart, but Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri is keen to replenish and strengthen his double-winning squad this summer,

    GERARD DEULOFEU

Watford are thought to be keen to clinch a permanent deal for the on-loan Barcelona wide man, Sport English reports.

The 24-year-old, who spent the second half of the season on loan at Vicarage Road having been deemed surplus to requirements with Blaugrana, is poised to meet with Hornets owner Gino Pozzo to finalise the deal later this week.

The Premier League side are reportedly willing to shell out £20 million (Dh98m) for his signature, bringing to an end an unhappy second stint at Camp Nou for Deulofeu.

Despite only featuring on seven occasions for Watford, he is thought to be a major part of summer revamp plans under boss Javi Gracia.
