After signing Fabinho from AS Monaco, Champions League runners-up Liverpool are now trying to strike a deal for Lyon captain Nabil Fekir.
Following the sale of Brazilian play-maker Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona, the Reds are keen to fill the void in midfield and believe Fekir could be the man for the job.
With Emre Can set to move to Juventus after the end of his contract, on a free transfer, Liverpool are attempting to strengthen their midfield.
Meanwhile, Fabinho who has played as a rival in Ligue 1 with Fekir believes the French international is a class act and welcomes the possibility of the 24-year-old joining him at Anfield.
“This is something that I always wanted – this is a giant of a team. The infrastructures of the club look exceptional.” 🙌
