  • Chelsea-bound? Jorginho.

The summer transfer window for all international deals is open.

That has started a frenzy of speculation as players and coaches look for their next moves.

Across the world of football, there is plenty of activity and stories that have football fans talking.

Here, we look at the latest transfer deals that could happen very soon.

Let us know your thoughts via Twitter and Facebook.

    JORGINHO

The highly-rated Napoli midfielder is set to deal a blow to Liverpool and Manchester United by signing for Manchester City, Sky Sports News claims.

Pep Guardiola is keen to strengthen his midfield this summer with the Italy international viewed as ideal competition for Fernandinho, who turned 33 in May.

It is understood that no deal has been agreed between the two clubs yet, but it is expected the 26-year-old will head to Manchester for a medical whenever a fee is agreed.

Jorginho made 37 appearances for Napoli last term, scoring three goals, including one against the Sky Blues in the Champions League in November.

    DANIEL STURRIDGE

Liverpool will demand £15m (Dh73m) for their out-of-favour striker, reports The Telegraph.

Sevilla and Fenerbahce are both interested in signing the injury-prone 28-year-old, who spent the second half of the season on loan at West Brom.

At his best, Sturridge was one of the first names on the Liverpool and England team sheets – but since 2015 injuries have curtailed his development as a player.

If Fenerbahce take the bait on his wages, then this would be a welcome move for a player who still has the firepower to bolster any attack.

    ALEKSANDR GOLOVIN

CSKA Moscow have rejected Juventus’ first offer for their highly-rated midfielder, reports Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Serie A champions offered €17 million (Dh72.5) plus bonuses, but CSKA are holding out for €25m (Dh106.7m) for the Russia international.

The 22-year-old has emerged as one of Europe’s hottest properties and his reputation will only be enhanced as he continues to impress at the World Cup.

Massimiliano Allegri is looking to bolster his squad ahead of the new season as the Old Lady attempt to challenge strongly on Serie A and Champions League fronts again in 2018-19.
