That has started a frenzy of speculation as players and coaches look for their next moves.

Across the world of football, there is plenty of activity and stories that have football fans talking.

    TONI KROOS

The Real Madrid star is Pep Guardiola’s primary summer target as he seeks to bolster his midfield options for next season, the Express claims.

The Premier League champions are prepared to launch an offer of €70m (Dh297m) for the Germany international after the World Cup.

The 28-year-old has the same game management skills that Guardiola wants in his side as the Sky Blues go in search of winning back-to-back league titles.

City, meanwhile, are prioritising Napoli star Jorginho but Kroos is also high on their wish-list.

    WILFRIED ZAHA

Crystal Palace are set to offer their ace striker a mammoth new contract, according to The Mirror.

Tottenham remain interested in the Ivory Coast forward and are confident of landing the 25-year-old.

However, the Eagles hierarchy believe improved terms will keep him away from a big money move elsewhere.

Zaha scored nine goals and provided three assists in 29 matches for the Selhurst Park outfit last term.

Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool have also expressed an interest in Zaha, but Palace are determined to hold on to him.

    ALEKSANDR GOLOVIN

The CSKA Moscow star could be eyeing up a move to the Premier League, according to Komsomolskaya Pravda.

Arsenal are among the clubs reported to be monitoring the talented playmaker, with Juventus also interested in securing the Russia international’s services after the World Cup.

The 22-year-old has emerged as one of Europe’s hottest properties and his reputation will only be enhanced as he continues to impress in Russia this month.

Unai Emery is looking to bolster his squad ahead of the new season as the Gunners attempt to challenge strongly on Premier League and Europa League fronts in 2018-19.
