    JOSE MARIA CALLEJON

With the announcement of Maurizio Sarri as Chelsea’s new manager rumoured to be days away, up to four players are said to be accompanying him to West London including Jose Maria Callejon, according to The Express.

The Spanish winger netted 10 goals and provided 15 assists last term for Napoli.

Callejon is a graduate of Real Madrid’s youth academy and returned to the club in 2011 before signing for Napoli two years later.

Another player mooted to be packing his bags with Callejon, this time by The Mirror, is defender Raul Albiol.

The veteran Spaniard is seen as a cut-price addition to the ranks with a release clause of just GBP5.3 million but at 32 years young he may find the going a bit tough in the Premier League.

Supposedly the Blues are not the only people interested in Albiol’s services with Villareal lining up a bid to bring him to La Liga.

    Matias Vecino

Sarri is also lining up some prospects from other clubs with Inter Milan’s Uruguay midfielder Matias Vecino high on his wish-list according to the Daily Star.

26-year-old Vecino, who is currently representing Uruguay at the World Cup, joined Inter from Fiorentina just last year and produced some impressive performances during his debut season.

Technically proficient and an accurate passer, Vecino is known for his energy and physicality stand 1.89 metres high and weighing 81 kgs.
