SON HEUNG-MIN

Manchester United and Arsenal are both interested in the elusive Tottenham attacker, clams Sport 1.

The German publication are reporting that the South Korea international is ready to take the next step in his burgeoning career, with two years still to run on his contract at Wembley Stadium.

The Red Devils are considered to be the frontrunners to sign the 25-year-old, who scored in South Korea’s 2-0 win over Germany on Wednesday night.

Son, who joined the North London side from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015, has scored 30 goals in 99 appearances for the Whites.

KALIDOU KOULIBALY

Chelsea are still monitoring the Napoli defender and could pounce for their long-term target after the World Cup.

According to Tuttosport, the Blues view the 26-year-old powerhouse as a like-for-like replacement for the ageing Gary Cahill and have the funds available to meet his £80million (Dh404m) valuation.

With Chelsea inching closer to the appointment of former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri as successor to Antonio Conte, the Senegal international could be set for a move to west London.

Koulibaly, who has grown into being one of the standout centre-backs in world football, is set to make a call on his future once football’s global showpiece is over.

Below, you’ll find some of the latest transfer news churned out of the Rumour Mill broken down and analysed for your benefit along with our calculated predictions.

GABRIEL JESUS – MANCHESTER CITY TO BARCELONA

Linked with a move: Gabriel Jesus.

Barcelona have made the Brazilian ace one of their top summer transfer targets having missed out on Antoine GriezmannAS reports.

Why it will happen: A move to Blaugrana would be difficult to turn down for any player, so as such, you could never rule it out.

Why it won’t happen: Manchester City will not want the forward to leave at any cost.

Prediction: This rumour appears dead in the water before it gathered any steam.

AARON RAMSEY – LAZIO TO ARSENAL

What does the future hold for Aaron Ramsey?

Lazio have lined up the Arsenal midfielder as a replacement for their Serbian star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who is expected to make a big move after the World Cup.

Why it will happen: The Gunners man has just one year left on his Emirates deal and this is the second to last chance for the north Londoners to recoup any cash for him.

Why it won’t happen: A move to Italy would be a big transition for the 27-year-old Welshman, who no doubt has other alternatives in the Premier League.

Prediction: Ramsey is set to meet with new boss Unai Emery soon and the outcome of that meeting will go a long way to deciding his future.

Golovin has been a star performer on home soil.

The summer transfer window is open and across the globe there is a frenzy of speculation as players and coaches look for their next moves.

There is plenty of activity and stories that have football fans talking.

Here, we look at the latest transfer deals that could happen very soon.

ALEKSANDR GOLOVIN

Juventus are leading the race for Russia’s World Cup star, according to Calciomercatoweb.

The CSKA Moscow schemer, 22, has been one of the leading lights of the tournament so far after a series of dazzling displays in the group stages – only serving to heighten rumours he will make a big switch this summer.

Indeed, the Old Lady have made it clear they wish to complete a deal for the midfielder, who could be available for a snip at €25m (Dh106m).

It remains to be seen whether Golovin wants to leave his homeland just yet, though a transfer to Turin would prove hard to turn down.

Star turn: Aleksandr Golovin.

ANDRE GOMES

The Barcelona midfielder is desperate to return to former side Valencia, Sport reports.

The 24-year-old missed out on Portugal’s World Cup squad after a miserable season with the Camp Nou giants in which he again failed to establish himself as a first-team regular.

Gomes, who joined Blaugrana from Valencia back in the summer of 2016, would apparently like to return to Los Che having previously thrived at the Mestalla.

However, Barcelona are demanding at least €35 million for his signature – the same fee that they shelled out to land him two years ago. As such, that could prove to be a big sticking point over a potential deal.

Andre Gomes is expected to leave Barcelona.
