Marko Pjaca has helped Croatia to the World Cup semi-finals in Russia.

The summer transfer window is open and across the globe there is a frenzy of speculation as players and coaches look for their next moves.

There is plenty of activity and stories that have football fans talking.

Here, we look at the latest transfer deals that could happen very soon.

MARKO PJACA

The Croatian winger could be on his way to Liverpool this summer after Juventus all-but confirmed they are willing to allow the World Cup star to leave the club.

Pjaca, who battled back from a serious knee injury earlier this year and spent the second-half of last season on loan at Bundesliga side Schalke, is expected to leave the Old Lady especially since the news of Cristiano Ronaldo‘s arrival in Turin.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 23-year-old former Dinamo Zagreb attacker is available for around £22 million (Dh107m).

Having struggled to settle in Italy in an injury-blighted spell, Pjaca is apparently open to a switch this summer.

MARIO FERNANDES

Valencia are leading the race to sign Russia’s World Cup right-back, UOL Esporte reports.

The 27-year-old was a key man during the host nation’s run through to the quarter-finals of the competition, although he did miss a penalty in the shootout defeat to Croatia.

Regardless, the CSKA Moscow defender is highly-rated and is wanted by Los Che.

Interestingly, Jose Mourinho is a reported admirer of the former Gremio man but it looks unlikely Manchester United will enter the race for his services.

Jean-Michel Seri is set to join the Cottagers.

The summer transfer window is open and across the globe there is a frenzy of speculation as players and coaches look for their next moves.

There is plenty of activity and stories that have football fans talking.

Here, we look at the latest transfer deals that could happen very soon.

JEAN-MICHAEL SERI

Fulham have sensationally beaten Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Roma and Napoli in the race to land the Nice midfielder, according to Sky Sport Italy.

The Ivory Coast star, 26, is reportedly set to join the Cottagers in a deal worth £20 million (Dh86m), plus add-ons.

Seri’s capture would represent a sizeable coup for the newly-promoted Premier League club who appear to be going from strength to strength under boss Slavisa Jokanovic.

Sources close to Seri have revealed that he sees the Whites as the perfect side in which to kick-start his career in England and wants to be based in London.

GRZEGORZ KRYCHOWIAK

Liverpool are interested in signing the Paris Saint-Germain man to bolster the midfield ranks at Anfield, The Sun reports.

Following the acquisition of versatile Brazilian Fabinho, Jurgen Klopp believes the Poland international – who spent last season on loan at West Brom – can be deployed as a useful squad option.

With doubts over whether Nabil Fekir will arrive this summer, 28-year-old Krychowiak is available quickly having been told in no uncertain terms that he doesn’t have a future at the Parc des Princes.

The Merseysiders also want another body in the engine room following Emre Can’s free transfer departure to Juventus.

JAMAAL LASCELLES

Newcastle will continue to fight to keep their club captain at St James’ Park, Sky Sports News reports.

The Toon, this week, rebuffed a £25 million (Dh121m) offer from West Ham for the centre-back’s services while Everton have also been rumoured to be preparing a big-money offer.

Lascelles, 24, who penned a long-term contract to stay on Tyneside last November – keeping him with Rafael Benitez until 2023 – has yet to make any recent statement on his future.

Meanwhile, Newcastle are desperate to keep hold of the talent as they seek to build on last season’s 10th place finish.
