Tottenham are yet to make their first signing this summer but their bid to rope in Jack Grealish has come under threat by Chelsea, the Sun reports.

The Aston Villa midfielder Grealish has been on Spurs’ radar for months with Mauricio Pochettino’s side nearing in on a £20 million transfer.

However, Chelsea are attempting to hijack the move for the 22-year-old and are complicating the transfer as a result.

Daniele Rugani

Chelsea have reached an agreement with Juventus for the signing of Daniele Rugani, according to Transfer Market Web.

The fee is reportedly set at £36 million for the defender who is however not entirely convinced by the proposed move.

Rugani believes he has an opportunity for more playing time at Juventus this season as Andrea Barzagli may be phased out.

Maurizio Sarri though is eager to add the 24-year-old Italian to his defensive set-up at Stamford Bridge.

Barca hitman Paco Alcacer is looking for increased game time.

Barcelona striker Paco Alcacer could be set for a two-year loan switch to the Premier League with Watford.

Alcacer, 24, signed from Valencia for €30 million in August 2016. He has since gone on to score 15 times in 50 appearances as a reserve option.

SPORT state that the Spain international knows he will struggle for minutes again next term and is prepared to listen to offers. Watford are negotiating a temporary deal until 2020, with a compulsory purchase option.

Alcacer is believed to favour a return to Los Che if they sell Spain’s World Cup 2018 call-up Rodrigo.
