Benjamin Pavard will stay at Stuttgart this season after holding off advances from Bayern Munich, Kicker claims.

The France international has a release clause of €35 million (Dhs 148.6 million) which will become valid in 2019, an amount considered well below his market value.

Although Stuttgart want Pavard to stay beyond this season, they are realistic of their hopes of keeping the player and an exit is likely to take place in 2019.

Real Madrid will not add any players to their squad this summer, unless they can sign PSG superstar NeymarMarca reports.

The Brazilian is the only player the Champions League winners have an eye for, despite them also being linked to Eden Hazard, Harry Kane and Rodrigo.

With money available, the club are ready to step up their efforts to land the 25-year-old. However, this will depend on whether UEFA will punish the Ligue 1 champions for Financial Fair Play breaches.

If Los Blancos are unable to secure Neymar’s services before August 31, they will wait until next summer to prepare another bid.

Staying at Lyon: Nabil Fekir.

Lyon manager Bruno Genesio has admitted Nabil Fekir has not found it tough to come to terms with settling back into club life again post-World Cup after seeing his Liverpool dream go up in smoke.

The attacking midfielder looked set for a move to Anfield in June, however, the proposed €60million transfer never happened.

But, following his victorious campaign with Les Bleus, Fekir’s focus is now on the season ahead with the Ligue 1 side – according to his boss.
