Borussia Dortmund’s Shinji Kagawa is close to sealing a move to Sevilla, El Desmarque reports.

The former Manchester United attacking midfielder, who was part of Japan’s World Cup squad in Russia, is surplus to requirements at the Bundesliga giants and been told he is allowed to leave the Westfalenstadion.

A transfer to Andalusia now beckons for the 29-year-old while Marseille have also shown interest in the man who has had two spells with Dortmund.

Ademola Lookman was an instant hit on loan with the German team last season.

RB Leipzig have not given up hope of signing Everton attacker Ademola Lookman before the transfer window slams shut in the Bundesliga on August 31, according to The Mirror.

The 20-year-old, who enjoyed a glittering loan stint with the Bulls last season – scoring five goals in 11 matches – returned to the Toffees during pre-season but has yet to force his way into Marco Silva’s first-team plans.

So far, RB Leipzig have had four offers knocked back by Everton for Lookman, who is apparently a man the Premier League outfit want to keep at Goodison Park.

Lookman arrived on Merseyside in January 2017 from Charlton and despite a bright start, including a debut goal over Manchester City, his chances have since been limited.

Juventus hitman Mario Mandzukic is now staying in Turin.

Juventus hitman Mario Mandzukic has revealed he spurned the chance to join Manchester United this summer.

According to Calciomercato, the Croatian World Cup finalist had the opportunity to sign for Jose Mourinho’s men but instead opted to stay in Turin and fight for his place, despite Cristiano Ronaldo‘s arrival.

The 32-year-old, reportedly, had long since been on United’s radar, however, their attempts to acquire the former Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid forward failed to materialise even though Mandzukic was offered a sizeable contract offer.
