Tottenham left-back Danny Rose is attracting interest from Marseille, according to the Daily Mirror.

The 28-year-old is very much part of Spurs’ first-team picture this term, however, rumours linking the England defender with a move away from the Whites don’t seem to be going away.

Rose has a long-term deal at the club until 2021 but a potential switch to the Stade Velodrome might prove to be for his liking.

Reportedly, Spurs have slapped a £22m price tag on their player.

Midfield powerhouse: Moussa Sissoko.

Turkish giants Fenerbahce are plotting a loan raid for Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko, according to The Sun.

The 29-year-old Frenchman featured for Mauricio Pochettino’s side during the opening day Premier League victory at Newcastle, but could struggle to secure regular first-team football throughout the rest of this campaign in a competitive engine room area.

As such, the Super Lig one side want to take Sissoko on a season-long loan arrangement and include a clause in the deal that could see them sign the former Toon ace permanently next summer.

Former Spurs Director of Football, Damien Comolli, is now working with Fenerbahce and is hoping his good connections with the north London club will see them force through a move.

Wanted man: Mariano.

Real Madrid could make a late move for former White and Lyon forward Mariano, who had been set on a transfer window switch to Sevilla.

According to Marca, Los Blancos are keen to exercise their first refusal option on the 25-year-old hitman before this month’s August 31 La Liga deadline as Julen Lopetegui seeks striking reinforcements.

Mariano only left the Bernabeu last summer but Real are at the front of the queue should they wish to re-sign the Dominican Republic ace.

Even if Sevilla press ahead with a €30 million move for Mariano, Madrid have 48 hours to usurp that bid and sign the forward as part of the transfer arrangement made last summer.

Should, however, the Spanish giants decide not to pursue the player and as a result he joins the Andalusia side – then Real are poised to pocket a sell-on clause fee believed to be in the region of €12m.
