Premier League champions Manchester United are set to head from one Emirates to another as the club head to Dubai for warm weather training and a much needed break from Premier League following Wednesday's crucial match against Arsenal.
David Moyes will be hoping that his side, who currently sit 7th in the table and 14 points adrift of their next opponents in 2nd place, can ensure victory at the Emirates stadium before flying to the UAE in a bid to rejuvinate his beleagured squad.
United were reported to be training at Dubai Sports City during their planned five-day trip but a spokesman at Sports City has since denied that they will play host to the Red Devils.
However, Sport 360°.com understands that United will return to the Sheikh Hamdan Complex on invitation by Dubai’s Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan and that all sessions will remain private and the general public will not be able to attend.
Moyes will reportedly bring his squad over in its entirety despite rumours earlier today that former England captain Rio Ferdinand would miss the trip amid reports of his impending departure from Old Trafford.
It is the second time this year that United will have had a presence in Dubai having paraded their Premier League trophy around the city as part of their 2014 Trophy Tour.
Meanwhile, Sam Allardyce will also bring his struggling West Ham side to the region this week with Dubai Sports City confirming that the Hammers will be using their facilities for the club's second trip in succession to the UAE.
The UAE has become an increasingly popular place for football clubs to visit for warm weather training with no less than five English top-flight clubs, including Swansea and QPR, enjoying the Emirates' climes last season (too much in QPR's case).
Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala also visited the UAE last year while American outfit FC Dallas, currently in the UAE, became the first MLS side to do so this month.
