    • Barcelona have reached the Champions League quarter-finals for the 11th season in a row (2007/08 – 2017/18), the longest streak ever in the competition.
    • Only Bayern Munich (17, incl. 2017/18) have reached the last eight on more occasions than Barcelona (16).
    • Lionel Messi (100) scored two goals to become the second player after Cristiano Ronaldo (117) to reach the 100-goal mark in the competition.
    • Messi needed 123 appearances to score his 100th goal, 14 fewer than Ronaldo (137 matches).
    • Ronaldo was 32 years and 72 days old when he reached the 100-goal mark (18 April, 2017). Messi is 30 years and 263 days old (March 14, 2018).

    • Luis Suarez assisted both goals. In all competitions, only Dani Alves (40) and Andres Iniesta (38) have created more for Messi than Suarez’s 31.
