Liverpool star Mohamed Salah handed Egypt a huge injury blow ahead of the World Cup after being forced off with a shoulder injury just half an hour into the Champions League final against Real Madrid.

The 25-year-old sustained the injury when Sergio Ramos took the ball away from him. As Ramos forced him to fall forward, he took the Reds attacker with him, landing heavily on his left shoulder.

Salah, who scored 44 goals in all competitions in his debut season at Anfield, was in tears as he left the field to be replaced by Adam Lallana.
