Turn up the class and glamour by taking in top-notch polo action in the final weekend of the Julius Baer Gold Cup 2016.
The 18 goal handicap tournament takes place at Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club, with both the Bentley Cup final and Julius Baer Gold Cup final slated for the afternoon of Friday, March 11.
Along with enjoying the international tournament, which is one of the premier polo events in the UAE during the year, visitors can make a day of it with plenty of entertainment and activities on offer.
Cheerleading, horse and fashion shows will dazzle crowds, while children can roam the Kids Zone area to have face painting, hand painting and pictures taken in a photo booth.
When the sun goes down, adults can dance to the beats by the venue’s DJ at the Official Gold Lounge.
At the start of the event, the teams included Abu Dhabi Polo, Bin Drai Polo, Edrees Polo, Ghantoot Polo, Julius Baer Polo, Mahra Polo, UAE Polo, Wolves Polo and Zedan Polo.
Winners will be awarded with iconic timepieces worth Dh500,000, while the Bentley Cup victors will get the chance to drive around a Bentley car for one month.
The tournament is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and is in its seventh year.
The McLaren Cup 2016 preceded it, while the Dubai Cup 2016 will kick-off on April 8.
