The Underground Pub has been a popular venue throughout this summer’s Euro 2016.

France, Germany, Wales or Portugal will be crowned European champions come Sunday and what better place to watch the action unfold than at Underground Pub.

Located in Habtoor Grand Beach Resort and Spa on Jumeirah Beach in Dubai, a number of fans have flocked to the venue since the opening day of the tournament and it’s easy to see why.

Boasting a superb interior of bricked walls and hardwood flooring, it provides a distinctive environment for visitors. As well as that, the Underground Pub has become a firm favourite for residents in Dubai thanks largely to live screenings of major sporting events and service.

All crucial football, cricket, tennis and rugby matches are shown, providing a vibrant atmosphere. And the Euro 2016 has been no different.

“Whether you’re cheering on your favorite football team or simply enjoying a few drinks with friends while watching the football, Underground Pub is a great place to catch the latest action,” said Dwayn Riley, PR and communications manager at Habtoor Grand Resort.

Watch in comfort: A beautiful interior provides the best setting for the sports action.

“Although it has toned down due to Ramadan, the fans have remained in full force and there is great sportsmanship among the fans. I think that now the tournament has been expanded to 24 teams, it gives a chance for more fans to cheer on their teams and we’ve seen a lot of people of different nationalities supporting the sides. That’s been really interesting to see.”

As well as watching the football, there is the traditional British cuisine as well as unbeatable daily promotions including Combo and beverage deals. One of the biggest plus points is there are 18 plasmas around the venue. With 60-inch screens and two projectors, you will have the perfect view of the action from France.

Aside from sport, you will not be short of options with live entertainment, quiz nights, pool tables and karaoke all on the agenda.

“There really is a traditional vibe around the place and there is great atmosphere around,” said Riley. “It encourages family and friends to gather in a cosy surrounding where spirits are uplifted with great food, drink and fantastic company.”
