  • Some of the most electrifying men and women in sports entertainment arrive in the UAE next month as WWE Live returns to Abu Dhabi.

It is the fourth time the WWE has visited the Emirates in the last five years and the first time since 2015 its packed star of rosters will enter the squared circle at Zayed Sports City Tennis Stadium since 2015, following the WWE’s visit to Dubai in 2016.

Roman Reigns headlines a roster bristling with talent to appear in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, December 7, with tickets available now via platinumlist.net and UAE Exchange outlets.

Reigns became only the fifth man after Hulk Hogan, the Rock, Triple H and John Cena to headline WrestleMania three times when he appeared in the main event in April.

It will be the second time that Reigns has appeared in the UAE, having competed in tag matches with his Shield stablemates Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose in October 2013.

Reigns will again be joined by Rollins and Ambrose, as well as Braun Strowman, Bray Wyatt, Finn Balor, Cesaro and Sheamus, among others.

Highlights of the event include the WWE Championship match between champion Jinder Mahal vs Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman, the Intercontinental Championship match featuring Jason Jordan vs The Miz and the RAW Tag Team Championship match between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, Gallows and Anderson and Cesaro and Sheamus.

“We are excited to bring WWE Live back to Abu Dhabi following overwhelming demand from our large, passionate fan base in the region,” said Carlo Nohra, WWE Middle East vice president and general manager.

“Fans can look forward to a spectacular show of non-stop, family-friendly entertainment for WWE’s only Abu Dhabi show this year.”

WWE programming in the Middle East, including Raw, SmackDown, WWE Main Event, NXT, 205 Live, Vintage, WWE Experience, Bottom Line, Afterburn, This Week and monthly specials, such as WrestleMania and SummerSlam, are broadcast on OSN, the region’s leading pay-TV platform.

Earlier this year, WWE Wal3ooha, an exclusive weekly highlights show in Arabic, launched on OSN Sports Action 1 HD, giving fans a unique, localised WWE viewing experience. Raw, Afterburn and WWE Main Event are also broadcast on free-to-air TV channel MBC Action.
