Experienced and beginner runners alike can benefit from the advice provided at the Reebok Running Clinic, the first in the Middle East.
The open-house event will be held at The Dubai Mall Reebok store today (Thursday) at 14:00 and will give runners of all abilities the chance to take part in an informative complete running exploration session.
“Reebok connects with the fitness consumer wherever they are and however they choose to stay fit,” said Mark Greiner, general manager for Reebok in the region.
The clinic will offer a complimentary foot strike analysis, by UPANDRUNNING, on in-store treadmills, which will tell visitors how they strike the ground during a run and which shoe fits them best. Depending on the mechanics of how you run, a change in footwear can potentially increase performance.
“We will also be providing expert advice on the benefits of running and training in a group environment with information and encouragement by Urban Energy Fitness and the Reebok Run Club,” added Greiner.
“Reebok Run Club is dedicated to offering support to people in a fun and friendly way and provides strength training classes, nutritional advice and injury prevention tips for participants in race schedules from 4K to full marathons.”
Visitors to the clinic will also have the chance to interact with mobile technology as video of the latest advancements used to make the Reebok ONE Series footwear will be delivered straight to their mobile phone.
For that, Reebok is encouraging everyone who comes to download OGLE, a free app from Google Play or Apple Store to enjoy the integration.
Along with The Dubai Mall, the clinic is popping up in stores across the region during the rest of this year and 2015 as Reebok continues to promote a fitness healthy lifestyle.
Entry to the clinic is free and open to everyone.
