  • Paul Dickov will be in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday

Manchester City fans, here’s your chance to hear from Paul Dickov on Tuesday when the ex-striker takes your questions in a special Q and A session in Abu Dhabi.

The 45-year-old will be in the UAE this week as part of Manchester City’s Trophy Tour and, during his time in the capital, will be interacting with fans ahead of England’s last-16 tie against Colombia.

Dickov will be sharing his stories at the Southern Sun Hotel in Abu Dhabi from 20:00 where you can pick the brains of the former Scotland international. Once that session finishes, you and your friends can also enjoy the crucial England game when kicks off at 22:00.

In a career spanning more than 20 years, Dickov has played for a number of teams in England including Arsenal, Leeds United, Blackburn Rovers and Leicester City. But it was at Manchester City where he was a key player for the Sky Blues.

Having joined from Arsenal in 1996, Dickov became an integral playerfor City, making 158 appearances until he left in 2002. During that period he scored 35 goals and played a pivotal role in City’s promotion to the Premier League in 2000. After leaving Manchester, he had spells with Leicester and Blackburn, before returning to the Etihad Stadium in 2006 for a second spell, where he played 16 times.

Having hung up his boots seven years ago, Dickov has plenty of knowledge and experience of the game to pass on and will be sharing that and answering your questions on Tuesday evening.

Once that session is finished, you can watch England’s World Cup round of 16 match against Colombia. Gareth Southgate’s side will go into the match following a 1-0 loss to Belgium in their final group game, but they will fancy their chances of victory after convincing wins against Panama and Tunisia.

Their opponents Colombia topped their group but there are question marks over their star midfielder James Rodriguez after he limped off in their last game against Senegal.

Whoever wins that game will face either Sweden or Switzerland in the quarter-finals. 2010 world champions Spain are likely to stand in their way in the semi-final should La Roja overcome their first two knockout matches.

Tuesday evening promises to be great night out and with Dickov hosting the session, and it’s definitely one not to miss.
