  • Challenges at the Corporate Challenge could include calisthenics.

Ditch the boring company get-togethers and opt for a unique team-building exercise with Rush-A-Way’s Corporate Challenge, which returns for its third season.

The inter-company competition, which is presented by LivFit By Oman Insurance and held on Saturday, September 22, will test teams with seven challenges across Dubai in a thrilling adventure around the city.

Create your team of three to four members to tackle the challenges, which will test mental and physical fitness, as well as teamwork and quick thinking.

The challenges won’t be revealed until the day of the race, but you can expect something similar to previous editions, which featured stand-up paddle-boarding, go-karting, parkour, archery, calisthenics, escape games and more.

At each challenge, teams will earn points based on how fast they complete the task. Once the challenge is completed, teams will receive the location details for the next challenge through the Rush-A-Way app.

Teams that don’t finish a challenge in the given time will receive a penalty. At the end of the race, the teams with the highest score will earn the title and bragging rights.

Medals, trophies and prizes will be presented to teams who finish in first, second and third place, while an excellence award will be given to the organisation with the most entries to recognise their commitment to employee development. Finally, a best performing company award will be presented to the organisation whose top three teams accumulate the most points in the race.

Only 100 team spots are available for the Corporate Challenge, so make sure to get your squad signed up early before places run out.

Regular registration costs Dh1,196 for teams of four, while last-minute registration, which takes effect from September 1-13, is Dh1,300 for teams of four. Included in the fee are t-shirts branded with your company logo, lunch and entertainment.

All team members must be at least 16 years old and one member must have a driving licence to drive between challenges.

Gather your crew and see if you have what it takes to outwit and outplay the rest in the Corporate Challenge.
