  • Liv has created a community of cyclists.

Liv, the Middle East’s only dedicated female cycling brand, has you covered this fall season with a range of classes, rides and workshops to get you over the summer lull.

The Liv and Breathe Workshop, where women will learn breathing techniques to boost their performance on a cycle, will take place on Saturday, September 12 at their Al Wasl Boxpark store in Dubai.

Women can also take part in ‘MightyGirl Mondays’, taking place every other Monday, to learn basic bike maintenance and how to change inner tubes in case of a puncture.

After opening their first store in Dubai in March, Liv has witnessed an incredible demand with more and more women getting on a cycle.

The interest has led to Liv widening their brand in the UAE with another location in Abu Dhabi, which will host more events and rides.

“Liv is a unique concept, being the only bike shop here that’s aimed solely at women,” said Liv brand ambassador, Emma Woodcock.

“More than just a bike shop, we are a community and one that is growing daily.

“We set up Liv in Dubai because for eight months of the year, we have the perfect conditions to cycle and that is what we’re all very excited about now that summer is starting to subside.

“We’ve also just launched Liv in Abu Dhabi, where we have a dedicated corner at Ride Bike Shop in Al Seef Village Mall. Already we’ve had considerable interest in starting some women only rides in Abu Dhabi too.”

Along with their upcoming workshop, the women’s cycling brand will launch the Liv Leadership course in October, giving female riders support to become leaders in their own community.

“In everything we do, we want Liv to be a place for women to hang out, learn, make friends and of course be active and enjoy the lifestyle that cycling offers,” Woodcock added.

“It’s our goal to provide an accessible and welcoming bike shop run by women, so that cycling becomes a mainstream sport for females of all ages, nationalities and fitness levels.”

Whether you’re looking for the best in cycling products or motivated to get on a bike, Liv is the place to be.
