  • Spieth was spurred on to Masters win by second-place finish last year.

In an interview with CNN’s World Sport, 2015 Masters champion Jordan Spieth said that the reality of taking home the title was “even better” than he had dreamed, before modestly commenting that he looked “okay wearing green”.

Speaking to CNN sports correspondent Don Riddell, the Texan admitted that losing out on the coveted green jacket last year had left him with “a chip on my shoulder”, but that he had “carried some momentum” forward to become the second youngest winner in the tournament’s history.

Sitting down with CNN in Augusta, Spieth also discussed how his sister Ellie – who has special needs – inspires his play and helps provide perspective on the successes and failures of his career. The 21-year old also let slip that he plans to serve Texas barbecue at next year’s Masters Champion dinner.
