Lidman and Frank secure first Saudi qualifier for Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge

    The 17th Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge has announced the winners of its sixth qualifying round – the first of two in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – held on Saturday, May 23rd.

    Ronny Lidman and Jan Frank emerged as winners with score of 49. Runners-up were John Molony and Michael Holland carding 48, pushing the team of IL Joong Kim and Mi Ra Jung into third place with 47. 

    On-course competitions included Aramex’s Hole 11 Nearest the Pin, claimed by Adam Donahue; Ecco’s Hole 4 Nearest the Pin, won by Graham Gunn; PWS’s Longest Drive hole 10 won by Phil Gandier; and Crystal Gallery’s Ladies Longest Drive hole 17, won by Hyjin Byoun.

    Through each of the GCC-based qualifiers the top 2 placed teams earn a berth to play for the ultimate title in the Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge Grand Final.
