  • Pakistan win the three-match series 2-1.

Off-spinning all-rounder Bilal Asif starred with bat and ball as Pakistan powered to a series-clinching seven-wicket victory over Zimbabwe in the third one-day international in Harare.

Asif, playing only his second ODI, claimed five for 25 as the hosts collapsed to 161 all out inside 39 overs after being put in to bat by the tourists.

He then cracked 38 from 39 balls at the top of the order as Pakistan eased to their target for the loss of three wickets in 34 overs. Asad Shafiq (38 not out) and Shoaib Malik (34no) finished the job.

Zimbabwe had made a positive start as wicketkeeper Richmond Mutumbani (67) and Chamu Chibhabha (48) put on 89 for the first wicket.

But number nine Luke Chongwe (16) was the only other player to reach double figures after Asif had made the initial breakthrough by catching Chibhabha off his own bowling. Imad Wasim weighed in with three for 36 while Mohammad Irfan had Mutumbani caught behind.

Pakistan were troubled little in pursuit of their target and Ahmed Shehzad added 32 after sharing in an opening stand of 58 with Asif. Pakistan won the series 2-1.
