Making its inaugural appearance in the country, courtesy of the UEFA Champions League experience, ‘Ol’ Big Ears’ will be on view in a concept store and dining destination that is set to open in Yas Mall in June.

An exciting new offering from Marka Hospitality, part of Marka PJSC, the concept-store is the first in the world dedicated to the Champions League.

The store will feature a restaurant where patrons can enjoy dishes served in a stadium-inspired setting designed to replicate the atmosphere of the Champions League, while watching live matches as well as highlights and archive footage of classic European matches on giant screens.

Fans visiting the UEFA Champions League Experience will be able to buy merchandise from top European football clubs taking part in the elite competition.

There will also be a museum where football devotees can learn more about their favourite teams and players.

The May 1-2 UEFA Champions League Experience pre-opening event will give fans the chance to have their photos taken with the Champions League trophy.

Additional exciting UEFA Champions League related activities have been scheduled to take place over the two days, including the appearance of two of the world’s top football freestylers, Andrew Henderson and John Farnworth.

If one was not enough, another iconic trophy arrives today (Thursday) in the form of Rugby World Cup prize the Webb Ellis Cup, thanks to Emirates, a global connector of people and their sporting passions.

The trophy will start its tour of Dubai with a visit to ‘92 Breakfast with Catboy & Aylissa’ on Dubai 92, where a competition to find one lucky teenager to carry a national flag out onto the pitch at the first semi-final at Twickenham, will be launched.

It will then travel to the Emirates Official Store at the Dubai Mall, where residents and visitors can view the famous trophy up close between 16:00-19:00.
