Ben Sulayem and Abu Dhabi Racing to field two Formula 4 cars in bid to encourage Emirati racing driver development

    This initiative, announced Saturday by ben Sulayem, ATCUAE President and President of EMSF and Mr. Khaled Al Qubaisi, Abu Dhabi Racing’s Managing Director, will provide a platform for young drivers to progress their Motorsport careers.

    Based in the UAE, the Championship will feature 18 races held over six events at Yas Marina and Dubai Autodrome Circuits, starting in October.

    Mohammed ben Sulayem stated: “Investing in F4 and attracting the championship to the UAE was a part of our commitment towards developing and supporting young talents in motorsport, and today we are pleased to move forward in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Racing who shares our aspirations and goals for the future”.

    Mr. Khaled Al Quabaisi said: “One of our main goals at ADR is to develop the Emirati Motorsport champions of the future, and we have started with our grass roots initiative, the DSA, with the collaboration and support of the National Health Insurance Company “Daman” more than 3 years ago.”

    The Formula 4 UAE is open for all MENA FIA licensed drivers, amateur drivers who never participated in a Rookie championship, and licensed drivers from outside MENA region supported by Local and European teams.
