Yas Marina Circuit will be home to the exciting world of drag street racing this weekend, as the first round of the Yas Super Street Challenge lays down some rubber on its purpose built drag strip.

Taking place on 8th-9th of January, the first round of this open-entry, brand-new event will see more than 50 of the UAE’s best street racers going head to head across five distinct entry categories. Yas Super Street Challenge will decide who’s the quickest off the line and who will be crowned ‘King of the Street’.
As part of its ongoing bid to encourage grassroots motorsport activity in the UAE, Yas Marina Circuit is offering would-be drag kings participation for 400 AED, with cash prizes ranging from 5,000 AED for third place, 10,000 AED for second, and 15,000 AED for first place up for grabs. Support crews can access the pit lane for only 100 AED, making the Yas Super Street Challenge not only an affordable experience, but in one of the most professional racing environments possible.
Spectators can watch all the drag racing action from the grandstand for only 50 AED –students pay only 30 AED with a valid student ID – and in addition to the exciting on-track action, can enjoy music from a live DJ, as well as a wide range of on-site food and beverage options to choose from.
For 250 AED, VIP tickets are also available now, providing access to the best viewing seats in the house, the drag paddock area, and a delicious array of catering served in the comfort of the hospitality suite.
