  • Future Stars: A DSA junior driver in action during a previous round of the UAE Rotax Max Challenge

Round 11 of the UAE Rotax Max Challenge will see eight of the UAE’s most promising junior drivers from the Daman Speed Academy (DSA) competing at the Yas North Handling Circuit on Friday.

Featuring in the DSA’s line up this weekend is Hamda Al Qubaisi who has been on the podium three times already this season.
Hamda will be competing in the Mini Max class, while her sister Amna along with Saeed Al Ali, Salem Ibrahim and Ahmed Al Khamisi will be competing in the Junior Max category.

Meanwhile, the Micro Max category will feature DSA drivers Abdulla Al Qubaisi, Ali Al Shamsi and Ahmed Al Saadi.

Robert Cregan, Daman Speed Academy programme director at Abu Dhabi Racing (ADR) said: “I am confident we will see some great performances from the DSA drivers this weekend, they have been steadily improving all season and I know they are excited about competing on home turf.”

DSA was launched last year as a joint initiative between Daman and ADR.

Its objective is to prepare the next generation of Emirati track stars, who through their performance and ambition are expected to inspire Emirati youth to reach their goals in motorsport.
