A total of 43 goals were scored across seven games at New York University as the NSL in Abu Dhabi burst into life on Saturday.
There were 8-1 victories for Our Own English High School Under-14s and ADNOC School U-16s, both against the unfortunate Al Ain International School.
The best was saved for last as Al Yasmina School sauntered to a 9-1 win against Al Dhafra School.

South African magician Nick Vorster was at the core of anything good for Yasmina, the tricky wideman helping himself to a hat-trick in the impressive show.
Man of the match Vorster is eying the grand prize of becoming U-14s champions.
“We’re really happy to be in the NSL competition and we want to win it, it was a big statement today,” said the 12-year-old.
Despite his treble, Vorster was outshone by Our Own striker Mohamed Emad, whose four-goal haul helped sink Al Ain.
He was assisted by a talented support cast, including Mahmoud Khalil who scored twice and added three assists, winger Samer Yasser scored one and created three goals, while Yousef Haddad also found the net.
In the day’s other U-14s clash, Mohammed Shaik’s two goals and one assist saw him pick up the man of the match award as Abu Dhabi Indian High School beat Rawafed Private School 4-0.
Mohamed Al Kaabi led the way with a hat-trick as ADNOC School blitzed AAIS in the U-16’s section. Ali Zaabi and Ali Alameri also bagged braces for the victors.
In the opening U-16s match of the day, ADIS kept it in the family to claim a deserved late 2-1 win over Merryland International School.
Haroon and Hadhi Bashir were the brothers grin after 13-year-old Hadhi struck with a thunderous effort from range to steal the points after his older sibling had opened the scoring from the penalty spot.
Mohammad Battah claimed two assists as Rawafed Private School beat Cambridge High School 3-1, Waseem Issam’s thunderous free-kick which went in off the bar was the stand out strike of the day, even if it was only a consolation.
In the other U-16s match, Our Own beat Al Bateen Secondary School 3-1, Ali Alaa stealing the show with two goals and an assist.
