With the Cleveland Cavaliers facing elimination in Game 7 against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday night, there’s a chance it could be LeBron James’ final game as a member of the franchise.
James can choose to opt out of his contract this summer and become an unrestricted free agent, and a first-round exit in the playoffs would likely make Cleveland a less appealing option for James.
But when asked ahead of Game 7 if the thought will cross his mind, James said: “No. The thought that if we don’t play that it could be my last game of the year, that will probably hit my mind. But no I haven’t thought about that.”
