  • Aguero has been a revelation in the Premier League.

In his first season at the club following his switch from Atletico Madrid, Aguero scored the infamous winning goal against Queens Park Rangers to secure the Premier League crown – ending City’s 44-year title drought. Injuries, however, halted Aguero’s rise in the Premier League as he only scored 12 in the 2012-13 edition of the Premier League in an overall disappointing season for the Citizens, which saw them only earn a Community Shield medal. The following season was routine for Aguero and co. as they went on to win the title once again, alongside the Football League Cup thanks to a 3-1 win over Stoke. Aguero finally scooped the best individual honour for a striker in the Premier League, with a golden boot to his name in the 2014-15 season, scoring 26 goals in 33 appearances.
