AL WATHBA CYCLE RACE SERIES – RACE 3
The Al Wathba Cycling Series offers casual and hardcore riders the prospect of testing their mettle at one of the UAE’s cycling hotspots.
The four-race series strictly adheres to the rules of Australian Pursuit cycling, where individuals are put into groups. Each group is released 20 seconds after the other, with the objective being to close the gap between groups.
Once all four races come to a close, the participant with the best accumulated tally will earn a prize.

UIM XCAT WORLD SERIES
XCAT is one of the most challenging and extreme forms of powerboat racing in the world.
Organised by the WPPA, more than 14 boats compete in the XCAT World Series, with a huge variety of different nationalities participating from countries as diverse as UAE, USA, UK, France, Sweden, Norway, Australia, Spain, Italy and Kuwait.
The XCAT boats are piloted by a driver and a throttleman, while the boat has two engines and is capable of blistering speeds in excess 180km/hour.

DP WORLD TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP
Celebrating its eighth year, the DP World Tour Championship once again welcomes the European Tour’s 60 leading golf maestros to the Earth Course.

The 32nd annual Abu Dhabi Striders Half Marathon and 10k takes runners across Abu Dhabi’s impressive Yas Island.
Starting off at Yas Waterworld, participants pass Yas Plaza, Marina and Ferrari World.

SHARJAH SPARTAN RACE
The Spartan Race provides an environment for beginners and trained professional racers alike to test themselves, with the 2016 Sharjah edition seeing contestants head out to Mleiha, an ancient preservation soon to become UNESCO heritage site.
Athletes will push their limits while breathing in idyllic vistas of Fossil Rock and Camel Rock Mountains.
The shortest course – the Sprint – is the first step in the path of becoming a fully-fledged Spartan.
Crafted to be flexible and forgiving, but still challenging, a 5km run is laid out with obstacles aplenty.
Stepping it up a notch, the aptly named Beast category is a 20km track; get to the end and the medal round your neck will be truly deserved!

The New Balance Beach Run AUH presented by Daman Activelife is a fun-filled family beach run suitable for runners of all abilities.
The different run options of 1.8k, 3.6k and 7.2k mean that there’s a run suitable for everyone whether you’re an avid runner, lacing up your shoes for the first time or just looking for a fun activity for you and your friends or family.
