  • The athletes will battle it out to win Dhs 206,000 and make their sporting project a reality.

After two seasons and more than 35 million views on YouTube, 10 new athletes from all over the world are ready to compete for the 2015 Invictus Award by Paco Rabanne.

This year, Invictus welcomes athletes from Lebanon, the United States, Brazil, and Mexico for the first time, with all the participants aiming to win Dhs 206,000 (€50,000) to make their sporting project and dream a reality.

    – #360WIN: A trip to watch New York City FC play at Yankee Stadium

Invictus was born out of the desire to talk about sport, and above all, the determination and commitment to succeed. Through the illustrious Invictus award, Paco Rabanne is supporting young sporting talents and offering them the chance to become a champion in return for supporting a charitable project of their choice. Courage, willpower, team spirit, and fair play are the values that will be recognised in this unique competition.

Online users will have the opportunity to discover Ahmed, Anton, Ben, Florian, Gabriel, James, Jonathan, Mario, Tom and Vicent in 14 episodes as each competitor will be put to the test during sporting challenges in mountain biking, rock climbing, a desert race, a jungle race, bootcamp, crossfit, a parachute jump, a running race through waterfalls, wakeboarding and paddle surfing.

Nick Youngquest, the face of the Invictus campaign and mentor to the 10 athletes, will support and guide them throughout the gruelling competition, after which the fittest and most mentally tough athlete will be crowned champion.

From May 18, and over the weeks that follow, online users can watch the videos of the candidates in action on the dedicated digital platform – http://www,pacorabanne.com/invictus – as well as here on Sport360.com.

From June 1, for one month, the public will be able to vote for their favourite athlete, with the winner announced on July 2 at a gala evening in Paris.
