VENUS WILLIAMS (35): The hard-hitting American is one of tennis’ greatest ever female players. Williams has been World No1 three times and has seven grand slams to her name, including five Wimbledon titles between 2000-08 and back to back US Open successes in 2001-02. These tie her for seventh on the alltime list.
Apart from her singles success, Williams has also shone in doubles and mixed doubles, winning every grand slam in the women’s doubles, and she has 22 career grand slams in all. She also has four Olympic gold medals, one singles and three in doubles.
