  • Selby (l), Bates (c) and Kleberson (r).

June 19 marks the date of birth for snooker player Mark Selby, former British number one tennis player Jeremy Bates and former-Manchester United midfielder Kleberson.

    Mark Selby turns 32:

Born in Leicester in 1983, Mark became the youngest snooker professional when he joined the paid ranks in 1999, aged just 16.  But it wasn't until 2007 that Mark really announced his arrival on the world stage with a remarkable run to the final of the 888.com World Championships, on only his third visit to the famous Crucible venue.

Although eventually running out of steam and losing 18-13 to John Higgins in the final, Mark won a legion of fans, and his antics around the table earned him his nickname of the 'Jester from Leicester'. He has gone on to win an array of titles since then.

    Jeremy Bates turns 53:

Bates is a British former professional tennis player. He was ranked UK number 1 in 1987 and again from 1989 to 1994. He reached the ATP world ranking of 54 in 1995.

    Kleberson turns 36:

The ex-Manchester United and Brazil midfielder is now plying his trade with American side Indy Eleven. The midfielder is infamous for his move to Old Trafford for £12.25m. Some claim that was one of Sir Alex Ferguson's worst signings.
