The NEORUN returns to the UAE this autumn with a twist on its popular concept, treating the nation’s capital to the Halloween edition with The Scariest Place To Glo.
The Middle East’s leading nighttime 5k fun run will be the place to be in the lead-up to the spooky holiday, with the event held on October 29 at Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi.
Though the experience is still over two months away, tickets will go on sale soon so don’t miss your chance to secure an early spot and ensure a festive Halloween this year.
“With the latest edition to NEORUN, our goal is to bring much more fun than the traditional 5k run,” Pach Ang, founder and creator of NEORUN, said. “We are adding the creeps of Halloween into a NEO-tastic glo-ing night run, for the healthiest way of having fun this Halloween. The run will become an entertainment in itself.”
NEORUN made its debut in Dubai this April, bringing together over 4,000 runners for a party of paint, colour and music.
This time around, the Halloween theme will bring its own distinct flavour to the event. Runners can dress up in their costume of choice before hitting the course and getting covered in UV paint.
The Glo Zones will be a mix of scary and fun, featuring a neo-underworld, haunted house and demon dolls before the race finishes at the energetic after party, where runners can dance while covered in glowing paint.

Early bird tickets will be available starting from September 3 until September 19, costing Dh135 per person. The normal entry fee will be Dh165, while a group of four can earn a discount at Dh150 per person.
The registration fee includes a ‘mind glowing kit’, consisting of a NEORUN t-shirt, a neo bib with your personalised runner’s number, goggles, a NEO sabre and a flash band.
