  • [L-R] Schumacher, Manning, Sharma.

Elisha Nelson Manning, more popularly known as ‘Eli’, is the younger brother of Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning.

While Eli has never managed to reach the popularity enjoyed by Peyton, he holds the Giants franchise records for most passing yards, touchdown passes and completed passes in a career as well as the NFL record for most fourth-quarter touchdown passes in a season.

Eli led the Giants to victory in Super Bowl XLII and Super Bowl XLVI, defeating the New England Patriots both times. He was also named the MVP on both occasions, becoming just one of five quarterbacks in history to have been given this honor twice.

More importantly, Eli has won more Super Bowl rings than Peyton. The American celebrates his 36th birthday today.
