  • Time for a run: One of the stunning views taken in as part of the Nike+ Run Club in Dubai.

Just in time for the end of the summer, the Nike+ Run Club (N+ RC) is back in Dubai attempting to inspire more runners in the UAE to reach their fitness goals.

A community-based running club, the N+RC provides expert coaching, support and mentoring to help train runners and encourage them to get outside and get active.

The N+RC will be held three times a week across Dubai and is free for anyone to join.

“Energy, passion, fun, and running, is what the Nike+ Run Club is all about,” said Tom Woolf, Nike’s lead running coach in the Middle East. “Whether runners are setting out on their first 3K or preparing to conquer a 10K personal best, Nike+ Run Club is there to help support these goals.”

Nike is hoping to motivate runners and help push them to their limits through its products, innovations and communities, such as Nike+.

Since its launch in 2006, Nike+ Running has grown into the largest global running community, helping inspire athletes to run both smarter and more.

Nike+ also offers runners the chance to track, measure, share and compare their runs with their peers across the world.

Today, the Nike+ community is comprised of over 30 million members worldwide, who together have logged over 2.4 billion kilometers and pledged over 2 million kilometers in challenges.

The Nike+ App is free to download on iOS while the Nike+ Run Club will resume on September 12th and will take place three times a week.

Sessions run from 7:00 am on Fridays (Burj Park Downtown Dubai) and 7:00pm Sundays (Palm Jumeirah Track) and Tuesdays (the Gate Building of DIFC).

Runners are encouraged to bring their own water bottles and are assured there will be a safe place to leave their belongings.
