A festival of cycling entertainment is lined up at the Dubai Tour Fan Village, hosted at Dubai International Marine Club, from the start of the race’s first stage tomorrow, February 3, until its conclusion on Saturday.

The Dubai Tour begins today with the opening ceremony at the outdoor amphitheatre at the Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina, which will see 128 athletes on the 16 invited teams introduced during an entertaining show filled with musical and dancing performances.

Italian singer Mary Dima will lead a famous European band, while Italian freestyler and former BikeTrial world champion Vittorio Brumotti and his stunt team will dazzle the crowd with tricks, jumps, flips and balancing acts.

The Fan Village will open the following day and remain accessible from 09:00 to 15:30 during the four days of racing as the riders compete for the Circle of Stars.
Not only can you immerse yourself in the race and following all the important preliminary procedures, but also interact with your favourite riders. When the athletes are signing at a special podium and interviewed by media, fans can take the opportunity to ask for autographs and take pictures with the stars.

One of the personalities on hand will be Virgin Radio Dubai’s Kris Fade, who will interact live with the fans in attendance.

Entry to the Fan Village is free, but visitors can also catch the finish of each stage at the designated locations and the podium ceremony to complete the experience.

The first stage will begin at Dubai International Marine Club and finish in Fujairah, followed by the second stage from Nakheel to Palm Jumeirah on Thursday, the third stage from the Westin to Hatta Dam on Friday and the fourth and final stage held in Business Bay on Saturday. In total, the Dubai Tour will cover 676km.
