Undoubtedly one of the best athletes on the planet at the moment, Stephen Curry, who was born on this day in 1988, has taken the NBA by storm, smashing record after record with his supreme shooting skills.
Curry was selected by Golden State Warriors as an early entry candidate in the first round of the 2009 NBA Draft. He went on to set an NBA single-season record with 272 three-pointers in 2012-13.
He earned his first All-Star nod in 2014 and surpassed his three-pointer record by sinking 286 threes in 2014-2015 – a season in which he helped lead the Warriors to their first NBA Championship since 1975 and claimed MVP honours.
Showing zero signs of slowing down, on March 7, 2016, Curry became the first player in history to make 300 three-pointers in a single season.
