Ski Dubai – one of the best and most unique attractions in the UAE – has added another impressive string to their bow with the launch of the ‘Snow Bullet’.
A state-of-the-art zip line, which is 16 metres off the snow-covered ground, allows guests to be propelled 150 metres across Ski Dubai as skiers and snowboarders navigate their way down below.
And take our advice, after Sport360° tested out this new ride, we can tell you all that it is fun. Really, really fun.
After taking the steep climb to the top of the slopes on a chairlift, you will be greeted by the Snow Bullet team, who will get you into a harness, run you through the procedure and a few safety tips before strapping you in.
After six blinking red lights and one green, you will be jolted down the zip line and hurtle towards the opposite side of Ski Dubai at speeds of around 25km per hour.
If you are with a friend, it’s even better as the Snow Bullet can accommodate two people simultaneously on its dual track, so you can compete against each other.
Once you have finished your ride, there is a conveniently-placed cafe down the stairs where we recommend you treat yourself to one of Ski Dubai’s heavenly hot chocolates!
The Snow Bullet can be enjoyed by people over the age of eight, weighing between 30-125 kg and above 1.20 metres in height. It is also advised to check with the staff if you have a particular health concern before you take the ride.
The great thing about the Snow Bullet is that while it is an added attraction to Ski Dubai, enjoying it does not come at an added cost.
Purchase a PowerPass ticket for Dh300 and not only will you have unlimited usage of the Snow Bullet, but full access to the Snow Park, Zorbing (in a giant transparent ball that sends you tumbling down the slope), the Mountain Thriller ride, unlimited chairlift rides, and a choice of either a penguin encounter or skiing option.
The Snow Bullet experience can be purchased on its own, but at a cost of Dh150 for two runs, Sport360° recommends the PowerPass to enjoy all that Ski Dubai has to offer.

Given the attractions already on offer at Ski Dubai, you don’t need us to convince you to spend a day at this incredible venue – although the addition of the Snow Bullet has made it even harder to resist.
